In This Episode

In this episode, I interview Adam Baker, Producer of “I’m Fine, Thanks”.

I’m Fine, Thanks is a documentary that will “give thousands of people inspiration to live their lives based on their own hopes and dreams – not someone elses vision or script for their life.” – Adam Baker

Adam Baker is a great guy.  My interview with him was not only a blast, but it really brought to light that life can be meaningful – you just have to make yourself aware.

Some may say that this episode doesn’t have anything to do with running a successful fee based financial planning practice.  But, I would say it has EVERYTHING to do with it.

  1. Scott, thanks for bringing this little movie to my attention. The trailer seems to be pointing to ideas and themes that many good financial planners have been talking about with clients for some time. I’m looking forward to seeing the movie and hopefully being able to have a little wider conversation with people that want to live life on their own terms.

    • Dominic,
This documentary really struck a chord with me. As you say, many good financial planners have been talking about [this] with clients for some time. The problem is that there aren’t that many good financial planners who really focus on the client as opposed to themselves. Life is really more about living with passion that living with wealth. It’s just a fact that to live out most of your passions, you need a certain degree of wealth. As a result, fee based financial planners are going to be needed more and more to help people figure out that fine balance between planning for tomorrow and living for today. Thanks for your comments and for being a part of the fee based financial planning community.
